Working for our children!

Continuing with its Social Responsibility Program, the agribusiness Danper provided tables and chairs to furnish Pre-School Institutions of Huancaquito Alto in Virú and Alto Trujillo, in El Porvenir district. The furniture for children under six, was donated as part of Danper’s “TRANSFORMACTION, Allies that Change Lives” program. This initiative aims to connect people with development through RECIPROCITY. For this purpose, an agreement was signed with the Therapeutic Advisory Association, ATA, that manufactures furniture from recycled wood and materials donated by DANPER. In exchange, they buy Danper products for the schools.

The donation was presented on Monday, December 17 at the Divino Niño Jesús Pre-School in Huancaquito Alto at a ceremony attended by Roger Carruitero, Human Capital Manager at Danper’s headquarters; José Luis Agüero, the Ombudsman’s office representative in La Libertad; Alicia Carranza, the school principal as well as of students and their párents.

On Tuesday, December 18, the donation was presented at the Medalla Milagrosa Pre-School in Barrio 3A in Alto Trujillo, at a ceremony attended by Ursula Mac Lean, Corporate Affairs Manager; Jhony Nuñez, Danper Club President of the Trujillo Plant; Victoria Rojas, the school principal, as well as of girls, boys and their relatives.

Students and teachers from these institutions showed their satisfaction with the tables and chairs. They stressed that the furniture will significantly contribute to improving the children’s learning environment. The children put on short emotional shows to demonstrate appreciation for Danper’s donation.
