2018: Triple award in Merco ranking

12 March, 2019

Danper recognized as a top company in the agribusiness sector in three categories by MERCO, one of the most important business reputation monitors in the world. It was ranked first in Merco Talent, Merco Companies and Leaders, and Merco Corporate Responsibility and Governance.

For the fourth consecutive year, Danper has ranked first for attracting, developing and retaining talent through its various professional development programs, equal opportunities policies for women and men, and its initiatives to create a working environment based on respect and harmony.

Danper also ranked first as the agro-industrial business with the best corporate reputation. Danper’s founder and CEO, Rosario Bazán, stood out among the seven business women and the 100 corporate leaders with the best reputation across the nation. This achievement was made possible by her strategic, commercial and innovation vision, and integrity, impeccable ethical behavior and significant work to foster social development for the country.

Thanks to the drive Bazán has been injecting into her team, Danper ranked first for the third year in a row among agribusinesses in Merco’s Responsibility and Corporate Governance Ranking. Bazán’s progressive and systematic work has resulted in the progress of workers, their families and their communities.

In the framework of the celebration of Danper’s quarter century, this triple award is an important milestone for the company, and puts it on a firm standing as the agro-industrial company with the best reputation, as the best place to work and the main driver of development in the region, and confirms its commitment to social, economic and environmental commitment which Danper has maintained since its foundation.

The survey reviews hundreds of organizations from more than thirty different sectors and is prepared by MERCO (Corporate Reputation Business Monitor), one of the leading corporate reputation monitors in the world. These survey rankings are audited by an independent firm and enforce a multi-stakeholder methodology, consisting of six evaluations and information drawn from twenty-five different sources.
